Some summers feel a little more special than others.

This year, America celebrates its 250th birthday on July 4. Coincidentally, just a few days earlier, Lucy Winslow’s birthday falls on July 1, making it the perfect time to celebrate the traditions that bring people together.

For Lucy, that meant community. For us, it still does.

A Beloit Tradition

Long before Lucy’s #7 became known for smashburgers, Lucy Winslow helped shape the spirit of Beloit. She believed in gathering around the table, getting to know your neighbors and creating a place people wanted to return to.

That same spirit lives on today through every burger served and every familiar face that walks through the door. Building Relationship, Creating Community.

Burgers, Baseball and Summer Nights

If there is a more American way to spend a summer day, we have not found it.

The Beloit Sky Carp are home from June 30 to July 5, which makes it so easy to turn a ballgame into a full summer tradition. Grab a smashburger before first pitch, catch a game with friends or family and celebrate everything that makes this season great.

It’s simple, it’s classic, it’s summer!

Here’s to 250 Years

America’s story has always been built around gathering places: ballparks, main streets and local restaurants.

As we celebrate Lucy’s birthday and America’s 250th, we’re raising a burger to the people, traditions and hometown moments that make Beloit special.

Here’s to great food, great company and an All-American summer!
