Lucy’s Legacy: 10 Years Strong in Downtown Beloit

In 2015, Lucy’s #7 Burger Bar fired up the grill for the first time ready to serve delicious, juicy burgers, Wisconsin cheese curds and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home. A decade later, we’re still here and better than ever thanks to our incredible community.

Since opening the doors, Lucy’s has become a downtown Beloit staple, welcoming locals and drawing in visitors with our mouthwatering burgers and welcoming atmosphere. What’s really kept us thriving isn’t just what’s on the menu, but the people who walk through our doors.  

Over the past ten years, we’ve built meaningful relationships with our guests and valuable relationships with local businesses, breweries and farms, ensuring that we’re serving the best of what Wisconsin has to offer. From working with Wisco breweries and area farmers, we’ve always been about supporting those around us, just as this community has supported us!  

When we hit our 10-year milestone, we knew we had to celebrate with the people who know burgers best—our guests!

We hosted a build-a-burger contest, inviting the community to submit their most creative, flavor-packed burger ideas. The entries poured in, and it reminded us of what makes Lucy’s special: the passion and love for good food that we all share.

At Lucy’s, it’s not just about the burgers (though we do make a pretty great burger)—it’s about the connections we’ve made, the memories shared over meals, and the way our community continues to show up for us.
